Dr. Jimmy Nguyen is a reliable and caring family physician, serving the community of Katy, TX. Currently practicing at Family Medicine Specialists, he encourages personal responsibility in healthcare which includes attention to health maintenance as well as interactive decision-making during times of illness. Dr. Nguyen attended the University of North Texas, where he received his medical degree.
He then went on to complete a residency in family medicine at Meadville Medical Center. He is also an active member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Fluent in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Chinese (Cantonese), Dr. Nguyen is widely accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. He strives to treat each patient to the best of his ability while ensuring that both patients and their loved ones comprehend the different possible methods of treatment.
Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, she is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has completed fellowship training in Geriatrics. She is deeply committed to helping older adults maintain their independence, health, and mobility. She believes patients should play an active role in their care and enjoys educating and guiding them throughout their health journey.
A strong advocate for patient accountability, she thrives on being an engaged and collaborative partner in her patients’ healthcare.
A Katy native, Kat Brazelton grew up in the heart of Katy and attended Cinco Ranch High School. A lifelong Cougar fan, Kat attended undergraduate studies at the University of Houston.
She was accepted to the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston where she completed her education with a joint BS and Master’s Degree in Nursing. Kat joined Family Medicine Specialists in Katy as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner to return to her hometown and brings with her years of experience treating patients in Pediatrics, Urgent Care, and management of chronic and acute conditions.
She is the proud mother of two wonderful children and spoils them at every opportunity. You can often find her at local Katy community events, participating through both her CrossFit organization and her soccer team.
Reva M. Davis is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She began her career as a Registered Nurse after graduating from Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX twenty-six years ago. Ms. Davis decided to widen her knowledge base by furthering her education with a Master’s in Nursing from Walden University.
Joining Family Medicine Specialists in 2023, she brings her years of experience in primary and urgent care to the Katy community. Ms. Davis’ mission is to provide competent and compassionate care to all patients.
